So I have been looking at a lot of plugs trying to decide what one to get for a long time. I wanted something bigger than the plug and dildos I currently have. I really like tantus toys a lot so I went with the sevrein soft trio. I started with the medium, the small is kinda tiny, I'm not a beginner. The first thing noticed is it is really soft, squishy and bendy. This made it kinda difficult to insert because I was trying to push it in and it was bending, squishing and not holding shape. I couldn't really feel the first stage at all and before I knew it was in with no pain. The medium is definitely a size up from the largest toy I was using and thought I would need to take it really slow. I think the softness makes it go in easier with out pain but harder to actually line up and get in. You really need to push hard to get it in. I can definitely feel the stretch in a good way. It feels really satisfying putting it in and I think the softness makes it feel good just hanging out with it in. It feels great being lazy lying on the couch, sitting on a chair playing guitar and walking out to get the mail. I would highly recommend the severing soft and can't wait until I'm ready for the large.
Nice soft easy wearing plug. I often wear it on my daily walk of three miles. I have the large, but would like a larger girth.
This toy (super soft, medium) is excellent! The super soft material is unbelievable. The medium is definitely not a beginner toy but something I got as a way to move in to a larger range. Now I want to buy everything Tantus makes in this stuff! The size and movement between sizes is fantastic. The only thing I would change is that I wish I had bought it a long time ago.
The base:
Honestly, this does not seem like an issue for me at all. I’m not sure if it has changed lately but the base is much wider than the neck. It is super soft so you could presumably fold it up and pusher it further than it should go but that’s what it would take to be any kind of an issue.
The only way I can imagine this would an issue is if I had worked up to a significantly larger size already. But, I believe that would true of any toy at all.
No issues with the base, and in fact it is one of the best features! comfortable with no digging or chafing. Anyone playing with this level shouldn't panic about something going in anyway... not that we've had that issue except when we wanted to :) It went in, it will come out. Size, texture (smooth), shape, and most of all squishy-firmness are really, really good. Goes in easy, stays put very well, and feels great. We've got several Tantus toys from small-ish up to A-Bomb, Fist-Trainer and Tex, and this is right at the top of the list. Don't mess with the base! :) Compared with the A-bomb which has a base made from much more firm material, this is way more comfortable for sitting, and moving around with.
IF Tantus would make a toy that is the business end of the Fist-Trainer, with a neck the diameter of the Fist-Trainer, and the neck length of the Severin SS Large, in the Super Soft material....... I think I"d be first in line for it.
I had heard a lot of good things about Tantus and the quality of their products and so decided to splurge. One of the toys I bought was the Severin super soft large. The shape of the Severin appealed to me a lot and I had high expectations. However as soon as I opened the box and looked at the base my first impression was "clearly nobody that uses plugs like this designed this base". The arms of the base should be both longer and thicker so they are more robust and do not bend as easily as they do, and so there is no risk of the base being inserted.
Other, more firm toys of this size would have been a very difficult challenge for me. However the squishiness of the severin made it surprisingly easy to fully insert. Everything except the base is near perfect with this plug and I would have given it 5/5 stars if they had put more thought into it's design. I enjoy wearing a plug while working around the house or driving or walking which means that the base is one of the most important aspects for me. I feel that Tantus really messed up with this design. I could feel how the arms of the base started to bend backwards while I had it inserted.
I have not used my other Tantus toys yet but it's immediately obvious that the Ringo has a much more appropriately sized base.
Severin Medium
The perfect plug for intermediate to advanced play. It has a small nose for easy entry with two staging areas to work up to. Designed with a long neck to grip and an easy slope that won't shock your muscles while sliding in. The Severin medium is a great training toy or a smooth plug for those who love that full feeling.

Recently, I found out that my partner wanted to try pegging. A dream come true for me! I was SO excited, but I had only ever had my own finger up there before. We did some research and thankfully found out about Tantus Inc's premium silicone toys.
After our beginner kit (which grew boring quickly) my wife picked out a Tantus Adam Super Soft to fuck my me with. It arrived and when I saw it my excitement mixed with nervousness! The Adam Super Soft is 1.7 inches in diameter - I needed to practice. That's when I added the Tantus Severin Medium to my ARSEnal.
The Severin Medium has manageable steps up in size for as a beginner. Remember to take your time with this toy. It took about a week of practice until I could easily take the second ridge, but that third one is pretty big! It took me a month or so to work up to it. I practiced about 1 time per day. One day, I relaxed enough and the third ridge popped in completely. It felt amazing!
After a few months or so with this toy, I can take the Adam Super Soft (pegged) without any pain at all. The odd thing is, I find myself coming back to this toy for play all the time now! I love the feeling of overcoming that third ridge - it's my favorite solo ass play toy. I still use it almost daily it as a pre-toy for pegging and I love to wear it as a plug. It's very comfortable and sits perfectly in my ass.
Don't be scared of the larger size toys, just practice and take your time! They won't seem big for long...
This is the first butt plug I purchased about ten years ago. It helped teach me how to gradually stretch in order to accept larger widths. Before my desires outgrew it, it was a regular plug for play, wear for teasing and wear during sex. Experiencing the stretch of a full two inches, as well as clenching around something that size during foreplay and orgasm led to years of more anal pleasure with Tantus and other toys!
If you want a plug that's going to stay put, this is a pretty darn good candidate! I always have to use a separate plug beforehand to warm up for this big guy, but it's definitely worth the wait. It was a lot to handle the first couple insertions, but it's getting progressively easier each time. I really appreciate the fact that it's girthy, but not super long. It's a fantastic prep toy for other anal activities or tons of fun all on its own!
I have both the Severin medium and Large Tulip. While the Tulip is a bit better at staying in place long-term, it is much less comfortable going in or coming out. The Severin is a bit more filling and the more rounded larger bulb is more comfortable going in. The more rounded design and wider neck means it is a bit less stable for long term wear. That being said, I've rarely worried it would come out and will comfortably wear it out of the house. The neck size is about 1.25 inches, and an hour or so of wearing the Severin is a nice warm-up/prep for taking 1.75-2" dildos for thrusting.
I've had this plug for quite some time now and I will admit that, at first, this plug was one hell of a challenge! (You should be reading that with a smile... It was that, OH SO good, type of a challenge!)
For the first 3-4 months that I had this bad ass toy, it was my go to plug for only those times that I was really in the mood for a really nice stretch! (You girth fans out there know what I mean!) Over time I used it more and more frequently and currently... It has become my daily extended wear plug! Seriously, I would be quite flustered to say the least, if by some freak chance I were to LOOSE IT! (It's pretty effin big... unless you leave it out and your dog grabs it and buries it in the back yard, you won't loose it!)
This thing's form is short and stout in a magnificent way. The third bump is significantly more noticeable during insertion and certainly doesn't let you forget that you are wearing it once it has found its home.
I love that Tantus didn't overdo it on the length aspect of this plug. It can be hard to find a nice girthy plug that doesn't insist on exploring the depths in addition to the walls of the cave...
Enter Severin!
(No pun intended)
Severin, daringly different and wonderfully fulfilling! You know your limits, if you can handle the diameter/circumference, buy it! You won't regret it!
Severin Large
The perfect trainer plug for advanced play. It has a small nose for easy entry with two staging areas to work up to. Designed with a long neck to grip and an easy slope that won't shock your muscles while sliding in. The Severin Large can train you safely all the way to a fist!

It took nearly a year before i could take the severin large and now just wow, its amazing! I dont believe the base is an issue, actually i think its quite perfect for the size.
The colur black is so sleek and very sexy. Its quite firm but with just enough give to squeeze itself in.
Cant rate this higher..try it.
About ten years ago, this was my second plug, after the Severin Medium. It took practice, patience and experimenting with different lubes (I wish that I knew about silicone and oil combos back then!) in order to take it fully. This plug was a favorite for short-term wear for teasing and wear during sex, until my ass outgrew it :D Short-term wear was the limit for me as the base shape could irritate after awhile, though the right lube plays a role in that. There is notable prostate stimulation and it is quite a significant plug to clench around for someone new to this size category. If you're chasing larger sizes, don't cheat yourself out of including Severin Large in that pursuit.
This is a fun toy to get in. It takes a satisfying amount of effort, I feel quite full, and it isn't really coming out on its own.
However it fails completely on the small, hard base. With my anatomy, the toy can get pulled slightly deeper on its own, especially when well lubricated. With that, the sharp, small base gets pulled inside too, Chaffing and digging into my anterior sphincter, killing all the fun and joy I get from getting it in, and putting an end to playtime. The base really needs to be 1.2-1.5 times the size of the largest 'bloop' and reshaped to eliminate the sharp edges. A rare fail in the dozen or so Tantus toys I have.
It is a rare day that I can get this plug in without a warm-up. I usually start with a Tantus saverin medium. The shape of both stays in nicely for long term wear with plenty of difference between the bulb and the neck, and a nice long neck that puts the bulb in past the sphincter muscles. With a 1.5 inch diameter neck, after a couple hours wearing this taking a strap-on with some thrusting is easy. The only issue I have is that the base starts to irritate after a while. It would be nice if it were less square and more oval shaped.
Okay, so this is my first *big* toy. As such, It won't get in.
I can easily get in a 4cm dildo. I also can shove the second "ball" in almost without any warm-up, no problem (4.5cm). I'm sure I could get a 6cm thing in - IF IT HAD A DECENT TAPER. This thing doesn't. As such, it gets stuck in my ass, just shy of getting the largest "ball" in.
I should definitely have bought the ringo instead.
I'm sure I'll love it once I manage to get it in, but right now, all it does is make me cry - I SO want it in, but my body doesn't...
TL;DR: only good if you can already fit its 6cm. Not good at all for training, since it has virtually no taper.
